Security for a local charity event
Open Eyed provided security coverage at Mansfield Civic Centre for the Howarth Timber and Building Supplies charity darts event in support of ANDYSMANCLUB.
The evening brought together local businesses, darts supporters and guests. Keith Deller and Russ Bray were part of the event, giving the night a strong sporting atmosphere while the organisers raised awareness for an important cause.
Keeping the event moving
The security team's role covered entry management, crowd monitoring and general on site safety. For an event like this, good delivery should be noticeable when needed and largely invisible when everything is running normally.
Supporting work that matters
Open Eyed's original report placed particular emphasis on the community value of the event. That is worth keeping. Security companies are often seen only at the point where something goes wrong, but much of the work is about helping worthwhile events run safely in the first place.
